- Priority in scheduling training sessions and staff services
- Courier service for sending samples between Evanston and Chicago campuses. More information can be found here.
Workflow
In order to use our facility a NUcore account and valid payment source. Please reach out to us at keck.biophysics@northwestern.edu if you would like to set one up. Please include your netID and payment source details in the email.
You can find a listing of our available instruments on NUcore here. If you know which instrument you are interested in, please click on the instrument and request training. We will reach out to you as soon as possible.
You can also reach out to us by email or by filling in the sample submission form. We will then discuss with you your sample, experiment, schedule, etc.
Once we have a plan in place, you will either have to attend an instrument-specific training session, or schedule a time to drop off samples for a staff service. Training sessions are necessary in order to gain access to the instrument needed. After the training session, you will be able to access the instrument’s schedule and make reservations on NUcore.
